Located in Ulysses, Kansas, our family micro-dairy is centered around quality, intention, and creating a closer connection between our farm and the families we serve throughout Southwest Kansas.

For us, dairy isn't simply the end product. It starts with the health and quality of our herd and continues through careful handling, cleanliness, and food safety practices, with the goal of providing the safest, highest-quality milk we can.

From Our Cows to Your Family
There is something meaningful about knowing where your food comes from.
Our micro-dairy allows us to keep that connection close. Instead of separating the cow, the farmer, and the finished product, Sunrise Jerseys brings them back together right here in Ulysses.
The same attention we give to our Jersey cattle and genetics carries through to the dairy products produced on our farm. Our herd is intentionally bred for A2A2 genetics, producing milk with only the A2 type of beta-casein protein, which some people find easier to digest than conventional milk. It’s all part of our smaller, more intentional approach to dairy farming, rooted in the belief that quality matters at every step.
Quality You Can Trust
Quality milk starts with intentional care and thoughtful practices. We regularly test our bulk tank milk for bacterial counts and monitor individual cows for butterfat, protein, and somatic cell counts (SCC).
Our milking process uses a closed pipeline system, inline filtration, and rapid chilling in our bulk tank to help maintain milk quality and freshness from our cows to your family.
